Jagex againts RSPS?!?!?!

Today I found out that Jagex shut down 2 servers and clients because they're saying the web clients and clients had the same exact Artwork as them but they didn't. I think Jagex doesn't want RSPS because most of them are free and that means they're loosing money from people who aren't donating to them any more for membership. Who agrees with me about this?

I agree A LOT jagex is not what it use to be... once they started making useless updates people left and they should start taking that upon themselves not upon others... and no one has the same artwork as them all the clients are different from runescape Hell even moparscapes client is different!

well for one thing moparscape was hand coded so there is no way for jagex to sue them. two- i think jagex does have a wright because all private servers clients use java- a program that jagex made for use with there web client so jagex does have a point when they shut down those two servers so i kinda half to be wih jagex on that one but with coalscape it may use java but the client is coded wayyy diffrently because coal has made custom items like bandose scimm and other stuff..

too bad for Jagex.. They don't matter , they gave out the files and models to everyone.. Their problem!

yea cause they keep saying that their stealing their art work but like what ummm...i forget their username or what ever said their giving out the models and everything so yea it is their problem

LOL I completely disagree with that statement... They did not give out anything... a few expert coders got together and coded Moparscape... They knew how to produce a game that would surpass Runescape. Then Miss Silabsoft comes along and out-codes them... There were no give-outs or anything... a bunch of people coded all this.... now I do agree that Jagex has the right to sue... to an extent.... By law.. if you change more than 10% you are entitled to claims.... with certain credits to their respective owners... now.. this being said... I regret to say that I have played Coalscape X... I have not been able to play much of any RSPS because of my internet being down.... NOTE: I did help Coal progress many of his skills.... FURTHERMORE: Jagex is entitled to lawsuits... just as long as they have proof there were plagiarisms.

yea but moparscape isnt that stable it can crash on u pretty fast so the coders must have no been that good lol

Well at the time Mopar was made it was big and didn't crash that often... like I said... Miss Silabsoft came along and just blew them outta the water... then eventually some people learned to code clients and whatnot and then *POOF* most people start using clients.

I know all this cuz I started playing just about the time Miss Silabsoft came along... I knew a coder for Mopar.... but I think he quit or something.... XD NUB

BTW don't I know you Venom? I think we met along time ago.... back when coal first started making servers?

yea i think we did too i like made u mod or sumtin cause i think when i started playing coalscape i had healped coal alot from hamachi lol so he made me co i have been co ever science lol i put science rofl
